How is it that the French can even make sneakers look sexy? Both girls are wearing Bensimon sneakers, basically the French equivalent of Chuck Taylors but cooler somehow. You can find the lace-up or laceless versions at Habitat shoe boutique for $55.

I really tried to avoid the UGG revolution, mostly because I think Kate Hudson is lame and she was the first celebrity I saw wearing them Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall, but after moving to the Winter wonderland of Utah I finally bit the bullet and bought these last year.  Now that I’ve become a convert of the furry boot revolution — they seriously are snugly and warm — I wish I had a pair of these UK-based Mou boots.  I like the pretty crocheted trim, the rugged sole and that they come in an array of fun colors. They’ll set you back as much or more as a pair of UGG’s especially since prices are in pounds but I think they’re worth it.

This time of year I always start coveting boots. These comfy looking studded Frye boots are my latest crave.  With my fast lane real estate days behind me there are no more annual bonuses which means no more bonus boots. Then again I have become a super savvy ebay seller in my time off so I could sell my Sigerson Morrison boots to help me buy these Frye boots.  Or perhaps they could take the place of a baby bauble present from the hubs and instead become a baby boot gift.  Either way these boots are on my list, these boots I can’t resist!

Still a little bit on the high-end are the original Kork-Ease. These will set you back about $129 but you’ll be ready to party disco-70′s style. Zappos has a huge selection from all cork Kork-Ease to metallic Kork-Ease.

In the middle price range, Clarks carries these cork styles from top left: Alameda, Miami Beach and Gelato, starting at $80. They come in a range of colors and can all be found at Zappos.

One of my favorite inexpensive sources for cork soled shoes has been the German brand Worishofer which start at the very affordable $49.95.  The hubs thinks these shoes look a little goofy but I love them and swear by how comfortable they are. I also like the fact that my Grandma Helen wore them! You can buy them online through Continental Imports.

I.Must.Have.These.Shoes.   From the name, Swedish Hasbeens, to their sexy 70′s vibe, it didn’t take much to make me love them.   All of the Swedish Hasbeens designs are based on original shoes found in the basement of an old Swedish clog factory.   The wooden heels and natural grain leathers are sourced from ecologically friendly materials and each shoe is lovingly handmade in Stockholm.   Perfect for this Summer paired with a silky jumpsuit or a cute little romper you’d be all set for a long night of dancing to Lady Gaga’s disco beats.

I’m a big fan of Sienna Miller’s boho style and everytime I see a photo of her I think, I’d wear that.   A couple of months ago I saw her wearing these slouchy suede boots to a movie premiere and loved them. In true Sienna Miller style she manages to combine a frilly dress with rugged boots and still look gorgeous.   So today while traipsing from Piccadilly Circus to Oxford Circus I saw them in the window of Russell & Bromley and I lost my mind for a moment and bought them! They are super comfy and they look super cute with my corduroy skirt and skinny leg jeans.   Yeah for fun vacation splurges!

I was recently hired as a freelance blogger for a new eco-blog called EcoSalon.com. It’s that time of year again, when I put together a list of things I want to buy with my year-end bonus! So far I’ve been eyeballing these fab Sigerson Morrison boots at ShopBop. I love the block heel, the height and the elastic smocking for a tight fit, which is so hard to find in tall boots. The price is ridiculous at $498 so I’m definitely going to shop around for a knock-off before committing. Let me know if anyone see’s anything like this out in shoeland.

I saw this picture of Jackie at a museum recently and it led me on a Google image hunt of photos of her. I think of all her styles I loved her Greek, Onassis period the best. I found these Bernardo sandals which would be the perfect place to start if you wanted to channel a little Jackie O. Legend has it she owned a pair of their Miami style in every color. This is random but I had to share. I have about 20 of these shoe boxes from the Container Store and they are the best way to store your shoes. You can buy a case of 20 for $30 or each for $1.79. They are clear so you can see your shoes easily and they stack nicely on top of each other. They have revolutionized my closet!

My Mom has always said Nordies had the best shoe selection and she’s right. I really like the patent leather offerings. They’re a great Spring style but I’m not sure how long this trend will last so get em while they’re hot!

Ballet flats have made a raging comeback in the last year and they appear to be the shoe for Spring or so says the tome of tomes the NYT (witness my recent purchase of the Tory Burch Reva ballerina). London Sole is on top of the trend with over 400 unique designs! The Valentine is my fave, check out their website or their boutique on Maiden Lane in San Francisco.

My latest covet is the Reva ballerina flat by Tory Burch. They are available in lots of colors with the gold or silver Tory Burch logo. I think I’ll mix it up and go with the orange, black is great but boring. I am very excited because there is a Tory Burch store in Atlanta and I had them put the orange on hold for me until tomorrow, woo hoo!
