Chic.

The navy dress, the giant flower pin, the slim brown belt and the little leather clutch are all part of the EmersonMade clothing and accessories collection. I’m loving the chic cropped tweed blazers, flared jeans and pocket skirts for Fall. Now if only rolling around on the living room floor with a 7 month old were an appropriate place to wear these fashions, I’d be stocking my closets with them.

Tied.

Our first Father’s Day has come and gone and the hubs is now the proud new owner of some Super Dad pajama’s. But I’m guessing he would have much rather received one of these studly ties from Pierpont Hicks.

Sneaks.

How is it that the French can even make sneakers look sexy? Both girls are wearing Bensimon sneakers, basically the French equivalent of Chuck Taylors but cooler somehow. You can find the lace-up or laceless versions at Habitat shoe boutique for $55.

Good cause.

Fashion + organic = Mika Organics beautiful clothing collection. Designer Mika Machida uses organic cotton, hemp and water based dyes for her unique dresses and tops featuring endangered species. The best part, 5% of the sale goes to the non-profit organization that supports that endangered species and it’s natural habitat. See more here.

I really tried to avoid the UGG revolution, mostly because I think Kate Hudson is lame and she was the first celebrity I saw wearing them Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall, but after moving to the Winter wonderland of Utah I finally bit the bullet and bought these last year. Now that I’ve become a convert of the furry boot revolution — they seriously are snugly and warm — I wish I had a pair of these UK-based Mou boots. I like the pretty crocheted trim, the rugged sole and that they come in an array of fun colors. They’ll set you back as much or more as a pair of UGG’s especially since prices are in pounds but I think they’re worth it.

Here are more pretty things to brighten up your Monday; these feminine corsages and headbands from ban.do. There are so many ways to use these flirty designs for your up-do or your outfit. The headbands would make a great bridesmaid gift and those corsages would be the perfect flair to perk up a simple white t-shirt and jeans. Sometimes it’s so great to be a girl!

I would love to have these pretty shades for my sunglasses collection. The price tag is a bit of a deterrent, they are $536.00 AUD which I am pretty sure translates to “you cannot afford these” in US dollars, but a girl can dream right? For more pretty things from designer Sretsis peep them out at Maximillia.

This time of year I always start coveting boots. These comfy looking studded Frye boots are my latest crave. With my fast lane real estate days behind me there are no more annual bonuses which means no more bonus boots. Then again I have become a super savvy ebay seller in my time off so I could sell my Sigerson Morrison boots to help me buy these Frye boots. Or perhaps they could take the place of a baby bauble present from the hubs and instead become a baby boot gift. Either way these boots are on my list, these boots I can’t resist!

I love to support women entrepreneurs, especially bad ass women who are not only succeeding in business but have excelled in the world of sports too! A.J. Cargill and Pam Coleman started Halo Hats in 2004 after meeting on the Jackson Hole Women’s Hockey Team. They decided to combine their love of sport with their feminine sensibilities and their line of sporty hats with a little bit of bling was born. You can purchase one of their adorable ski hat designs online or check here for your nearest retailer.

I couldn’t have come up with a better giveaway on this blustery Fall day than these warm and colorful crochet hats from the Crabby Crochet! Laura Ford, the woman behind the designs, is as vibrant as her hats and is generously donating a custom made hat to the lucky winner. Whether it’s a one of her 100% cotton beanie hats with a scalloped edge and pretty flower or a brimmed beanie with stripes made out of worsted wool, you get to choose the style, color and shape of your liking!
Take a look at Laura’s Etsy shop Crabby Crochet, to find the style that fits your vibrant personality or that of your little guy or girl, and then leave me a comment with your favorite. I will pick the winner out of a hat this Thursday morning and then put you in touch with Laura to create your custom hat. Happy Hat Hunting!

How awesome are these photographs of the LA based clothing line Dear Creatures? Think, Zooey Deschanel (their biggest fan), Mid-Century modern, 1960′s Girl Scouts and tee pees and you’ve got the concept for the Autumn 2009 collection of Dear Creatures! I love the nature inspired set design by photographer Yudi Ela, who has been working with DC since 2008 on their collections. The Fall collection is not available on their website yet, but you can check with their list of retailers for the location nearest you. I wonder if I can still pull off one of their dresses this Fall before my expanding belly completely takes over?
P.S. It looks like 80′s Purple has a bunch of items from the new Fall line available!

I’m loving these Jacaranda Home handmade embroidered leather purses from Mexico. They would be a perfect Fall to Winter transition purse and they are currently 30% off!
