I spotted these clever soaps made from vintage Victorian door knob molds on Design Sponge but it was the gorgeous packaging for The Bubble Roome’s other products that really made me a fan. I am flying through bottles of lotion these days in the hopes of preventing stretch marks and just the sound of the grapefruit and tangerine butter cream has me practically salivating. I know, that sounds weird, but the combo of citrus and butter does strange things to a pregnant woman. You can buy these delights online through The Bubble Roome website.

It evokes a sort of spooky Victorian England vibe in its graphic design and of course with names like “Gloop” and “Grundy” I’m more than intrigued. The good news is that the products smell better than their names would suggest. With ingredients like marshmallow, jasmine and lily of the valley you can pretty much guarantee that you’ll smell like a sexy villainess without the wretched part. You can find everything you need from affordable perfume oils to mud masks on their website.

I was recently hired as a freelance blogger for a new eco-blog called EcoSalon.com. At EcoSalon I will be covering artisan, decor and fashion items, similar to the things you find here at Little Willow but with an eco-edge. The thing that sets EcoSalon apart is its authenticity. It’s real people sharing how to live an eco-friendly lifestyle without being preachy or crunchy. For example you can find out how to properly wash a pillow (which I am doing as I write this), where to buy stunning recycled glass carafes made from broken windshields or how to get a healthy high from herbal espresso. I am really excited for this opportunity to contribute to the rainbow of “green” knowledge available to women! Feel free to send me suggestions and if my Editor approves, (yes people I have an Editor now, it’s the big time), we’ll write about it!
