birthday cake
Well the hubs really nailed it with my birthday present this year. A few months ago I wrote about Paul Ferney’s “Let Them Eat Cake” gallery show and I was secretly hoping the hubs would mind-read that I really wanted one of these paintings for my birthday. But just to be sure, I took the liberty of emailing him pictures of Paul’s available pieces from Studio Gallery in case his mind-reading capabilities were all full. Even with all of that effort I didn’t think he would actually get me one! I was stunned and amazed when I unwrapped this beauty on my birthday. Each cake painting has a story inscribed on the back and mine reads: Moist Devils Food “After a long day of work, she would don her prettiest dress and consume cake for dinner.” That sounds about right!
There are a few of Paul’s paintings left at Studio Gallery in San Francisco. Call Jennifer to inquire.
