diaper bag indecision
I’ve been on the hunt for a diaper bag for most of this pregnancy and let me tell you it has been a full time job! For starters there are a million different brands to choose from add to that a gazillion different shapes to choose from and once that is narrowed down there are a bazillion unique patterns to choose from. At this point I’ll probably be using a paper bag to lug around butt wipes, extra diapers and a change of clothes for the poor boy.
So to help make my decision easier I’ve decided to simplify my needs. I want something boxy and roomy with a bold modern pattern. These carryalls from Saltbox NYC just might be the answer to my prayers. Oh and I like that they aren’t actually a diaper bag and did I mention that thanks to Daily Candy they are 30% off right now? Use code SALTBOXCANDY30.
Do you have a favorite diaper bag? I’d love to hear what worked best for you!
P.S. Melinda from Saltbox wrote to me to tell me about their monthly drawings. Enter to win a FREE Getaway bag this month. Go here!

Hey – those are CUTE! But, at the beginning I highly recommend having a bag that has bottle sections so you can bring along an emergency bottle or two when you’re out and about! Also – something that has enough compartments that you’ll be organized. Lastly, you want something that Billy can carry – again, at least at the beginning you don’t ALWAYS want to be the one who has to lug everything around!! Just my POV…xo

Hello Larkyn,
Thank you so much for the write-up! We’re a small emerging design co in NYC and just being “discovered” ~ it means a lot to us to come across supportive reviews like yours
I love that you saw our and thought to use it as a diaper bag – I myself buy diaper bags (I have no children!) to use as shoulder bags! Please let your readers know that we also do FREE monthly drawings – next winner gets their choice of ANY of our Getaway Bags!
Best wishes,
Melinda

i searched for a long time before finding a diaper bag that works for me. i decided on the hansel diaper bag from not rational. it’s comfy because it’s soft + smooshie leather. others i tried were not only huge, but because they’re structured they are very rigid, bulky and overwhelming for my 5′ frame.
i too love the saltbox bags [i even blogged about them :], but i think i’d need to see it in person to see if it would work as a diaper bag.
good luck with your search!
