nursery artwork

I was all set on decorating our nursery with a series of animal prints from Sharon Montrose, and then I stumbled upon Avalisa’s giclee prints on Art.com. Avalisa designer Lisa Masterson was heavily influenced by her Finnish grandmother, the namesake of Avalisa, when she created this line of nursery art in bold shapes with bright colors that just scream buy me, frame me! I like that the shapes have a modern simplicity to them which would give me the flexibility of using them as the baby gets older or possibly in other rooms in the house. I have some decisions to make!
Avalisa giclee prints are available in five sizes and can be ordered as big as a wall mural here. She also has a line of canvas stretched wall art which can be ordered here.

This artwork is beautiful! I’m thinking about using this artwork and incorporate it with another idea I have for my son nursery. Put these pictures with the ABC’s around the room. These colors are so vivid and fun, it would be the perfect compilent!
Here’s what I found for the ABC’s idea. What do you think? Would it work?
