I was so happy to receive an email this week from jeweler Anna Sofia telling me about her line of original paper jewelry. It’s hard to believe by looking at her jewelry but each bead is actually made out of paper! Anna uses a combination of beautiful decorative papers from around the world: Silk-screened Chiyogami and stencil-dyed Katazome-shi papers from Japan; eco-friendly Lokta papers from Nepal; hand-marbled papers from Brazil; handmade papers from India; marbled and decorative papers from Italy, Thailand, and France.
