I am really drawn to these unique, handmade jewels made with vintage fabric, beads and baubles by Lush Bella, a local San Francisco jeweler. They look like something you might find in your grandmothers jewelry box. Each piece is one of a kind and priced really reasonably. I love finding little jems like these.

This new-to-me home collection by Ferm Living (out of Denmark but now available in the US), has got me contemplating wallpaper for the bathroom again. The cool thing is they also have wall stickers so if I can’t commit to covering the entire wall I can just add one of their pretty wall sticker designs instead. But man I love the wallpaper! Check back this Winter for their new bedding collection.

Since I have my awesome new chair I was inspired to redress my “dressing room” (which has a twin bed in it) so I bought some (on sale) Dwell bedding. Eventually the “dressing room” will be a baby room but until we hit the baby lottery it’s my chill out space so I want to make it super cushie and cute. Also at Dwell are these adorable crib sets from their Dwell Baby line.

Finally the chair project is complete! 5 years ago my sister and I bought these interesting chairs at an antique shop in CA. They had been languishing in my garage for the past 2 years until Haley finally took charge and got the project started. She deserves all the credit since it was she who decided to paint them white, do two different fabrics, one for the front and one for the back and she found an inexpensive ulpholstery guy to put it all together. We both used pink as a starting point. Haley’s fabric came from designer Etsuko Furuya at PurlSoho and mine is Vanessa Arbuthnott from her Sky collection. I am thrilled with the outcome!

I am madly in love with these “fictional interiors” from artist Stephanie Levy. Made of ink, acrylic and collage on handmade paper, I like the mid-century mod feel, the colors and her creativity. Inspired by the four generations of Irish carpenters in her family she has been creating fictional interiors since she was a child. Stephanie is originally from Nashville but currently resides in Germany. You can purchase her work at SQFT Gallery.

I really need to NOT spend money right now as the hubs and I are saving for home improvements but I love these handbags at ArtStream Studios (located in Rochester, NH). I like the pleats and the pretty patchwork fabric on these flossy-p handbags. They’re cute and casual and one of a kind, that means one of each people so if you like them please buy one, so I can’t! $60 each, nice price too. The clutch and pouch are from muchachaK, she has more designs on her Etsy site.

I am a huge fan of Sienna Miller and her style and now with the launch of her new clothing line Twenty8Twelve we can all attempt to look as effortlessly bohemian as she does. The collection, a joint effort with her sister Savannah Miller, is really edgy and very Dickensian London this season. I am actually a little disappointed in the lack of color but I’m excited to follow them and see what they do next. In the States it can be found at Bergdorf and Neiman’s but a couple UK sites have the new collection online now. Check them out here: My Wardrobe and Asos.

Digging these surreal landscape drawings by Portland artist Michelle Ramin. I like the biomorphic forms and the vibrant pops of color. All of these drawings are small (4×4 or 5×7) and mounted on birch panel with a hook on back, this of course makes them perfect for my mini-art collection. They are priced just right starting at $32 and you can purchase them from her Etsy site.

I just wanted to give a shout out to the hubs who played in a golf-putt competition this week where he won an iPhone, which he gallantly gave to me, his very lucky wife! I will miss my old Nokia. He’s been good to me all these years, but I’m moving up to the big leagues. So from now on if you call or email or text me I will gladly respond from my most handsome Mr. Phone. RIP Nokes.

I am so in love with these casual pleated bags by La Voleuse (french for “female thief”). I first spotted their signature Thursday Bag at the Candy Store in San Francisco and added them to my covet list. They’re the perfect weekend bag in fun colors and your choice of handle that snaps on so you can mix and match. Made in Manhattan they also come with NYC prices $210 and up!
