This year the hubs and I are celebrating 5 years of married bliss which got me thinking about my wedding dress and how sad that I will never have a chance to wear it again. That is until I picked up the Times on Sunday and read about Trash the Dress photo sessions. A group of photographers started offering really cool photo sessions post-wedding, of the bride trashing her dress in various ways. The founder of this movement is Las Vegas based photographer John Michael Cooper, his shots are above.

    Great idea, the photos are stunning, it wouldn’t surprise me if they are of better quality than those taken on the actual wedding.

    I saw something about this on TV the other day… Surprising how beautiful the photos turn out.

    i did this after my wedding and it was one of the best ideas we ever had. photos from these sessions are usually better because the photog has the time to shoot because the couple is not rushing off to their reception. fun!
