I think the first place I spotted local SF artist Rex Ray’s colorful resin panels was on the walls of the original Slanted Door in the Mission District. I’ve been a fan ever since. His one-of-a-kind abstract collages are created from archival papers placed artistically on plywood panels and then coated with high gloss epoxy resin. Sounds pretty easy but I don’t see you doing it You can purchase various sizes of his resin panels from his website, love it when an artist is willing to sell direct. Anyway they start at $600 and go up from there. If you’d like to see his work in person you can peep it out at MMGalleries in SF.
